On Tuesday, September 17, Nicole Hladik was sworn into the Hinsdale Fire Department at the Village Board meeting.

Nicole grew up in Berwyn and currently lives in Willowbrook with the husband Daniel. She graduated from North Central College with a degree in Business Management in 2016. Nicole received her paramedic license from the Edward Hospital Paramedic Program in 2018, and graduated from the Western Springs Fire Academy in June of this year. She will be graduating from the Romeoville Fire Academy the end September with her Advanced Firefighter certification. Her work history includes working for Ridge Ambulance, and was a paid on call firefighter/paramedic at the Western Springs Fire Department.
