  • The Village licenses Republic Services Allied Waste for residential garbage, refuse and recycling collection. Please contact Republic Services Allied Waste (630) 964-3232 or (708) 345-7050 to begin your garbage service. Check here for detailed information.

  • Water Service is provided by the Village of Hinsdale. Contact (630) 789-7020 or send e-mail for information. Please note: Water and Sewer Services are billed separately in the Village.

  • Water sprinkling restrictions are in effect from May 15 thru September 15. For current restrictions visit the Water Plant's home page.

  • Report street light outages to ComEd at 1-800-334-7661 .

  • Village Ordinance requires vehicles and animals to be licensed. Complete an application for your vehicle sticker as soon as possible. Please contact the Finance Department (630-789-7001) or send e-mail for any additional applications.

  • The Hinsdale Public Library (630-986-1976) is located at 20 E. Maple Street.

  • Comcast serves Hinsdale with cable television, internet, and phone service. Contact Comcast at (866) 594-1234.

  • AT&T U-Verse serves parts of Hinsdale with cable television, internet, and phone services. Contact AT&T U-Verse at (800) 288-2020.

  • AT&T is one of several telephone companies serving the Northeast Illinois area. Call (800) 244-4444 to set up telephone service. 

  • Satellite service is also available through companies such as DIRECTV and DISHnetwork.

  • Commonwealth Edison provides electricity to Hinsdale. They can be reached at (800) Edison-1 (800-334-7661). 

  • Nicor Gas is a natural gas provider for Northern Illinois. Call (888) Nicor4U (888-642-6748).

  • If you are moving to Hinsdale from outside of Illinois, you can get new License Plates from the Illinois Secretary of State's Office. Updated Drivers Licenses can be obtained here as well.

  • No Parking is allowed on any Village street between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily. See Section 6-6-10 of the Hinsdale Village Code.

  • You may register to vote at the Village Hall, 19 East Chicago Avenue. Call 630-789-7011 for details. DuPage County residents can also register to vote at the Library, 20 East Maple Street.
