Master Infrastructure Plan

In 2009, the Village Board created a long-term plan that contemplates $86.8 million in infrastructure improvements between 2010 and 2023. The Master Infrastructure Plan (MIP) is intended to:

• Repair or replace failing roads and accomplish improvements to the water, sewer, and stormwater management systems that were required to comply with federal and state regulations
• Provide for sufficient ongoing maintenance to prevent roads from deteriorating; annual maintenance is funded at levels increasing to $2.25 million per year by 2020

The MIP is subject to annual review by the Village's Engineering staff, and projects may be reprioritized based on current conditions.

The April 5, 2016 Committee of the Whole MIP update is available here, showing progress made through the end of Fiscal Year 2015-16 (April 30, 2016).

The detailed presentation given to the Board of Trustees on February 3, 2015 is available here, showing progress as of December 31, 2014.

In 2017, the Master Infrastructure Plan was accelerated to provide street improvements earlier. The following streets are scheduled to be completed in 2019:
