Hinsdale Public Library
The Hinsdale Public Library is located at 20 E. Maple Street in the west wing of the Memorial Building. The facility provides the community with a full-service library of approximately 30,000 square feet. A Gathering Place
The Hinsdale Public Library is a comfortable and inviting place to visit. Located right next to Village Hall on the northern part of historic downtown Hinsdale, the Library is open over 70 hours a week. (Online services are available 24 hours a day.) We offer:

Distinctive Collections and Programs
The Library enriches the lives of Hinsdale residents with excellent collections and programming. Last year, over 213,000 people visited the Library and over 344,000 items were borrowed! Collections and programs include:
- Access to over 25,000 e-book titles
- Same-day new releases of popular books, movies, and TV series
- Storytimes and other early literacy classes for young children
- "The Big Read" community-wide reading program for adults
