Beginning Wednesday, March 26, 2008, Ogden Ave.(US Rte 34)
road construction activity will resume. Permanent lane closures
will be necessary to safely complete the preliminary stages
of the road widening. One lane in each direction, between
County Line Rd and Oak Street, will be open to traffic.
Due to this traffic staging, left turn movements from west
bound Ogden to south bound County Line Rd will be prohibited.
Motorists will be detoured to Oak Street and Fuller Street
then on to County Line Rd. Although flagging operations
and traffic control devices will be in place to assist with
local traffic flow, delays will be experienced. Motorists
are encouraged to use the posted detour route. Local business
access will be maintained during all phases of the project.
All operations requiring the permanent lane closure are
scheduled to be completed within 3 weeks.
