ATTENTION ALL KLM PICNIC PERMIT RENTERS

February 1, 2011

The Village of Hinsdale has received funding to renovate the South picnic shelter at KLM Park.  The Village has applied for grant funding from the state of Illinois and is hopeful funding will be approved to renovate the North shelter as well.  As of February 1st, the Village has not received notification of this additional funding request.  The outcome of this funding request will determine if there will be construction on the North pavilion.

Picnic permits issued for June 1st and later will be rented with no guarantee that the shelters will be available.  The map attached to your rental agreement will show where the area will be that is rented if the pavilion is not available.

Please watch the Park and Recreation Dept. website at www.villageofhinsdale.org/pr for information regarding the picnic rentals or call the Parks and Rec office for updates.

Thank you for your patience.  You can look forward to a renovated South pavilion in 2012!
