Announcements:
The Skate Park at Veeck park will be open April 1st for the 2010 season. The park will be open daily from 8:00 am until dusk (no later then 8:00 pm). Violation of the hours may result in Notice of Trespass being issued by the Hinsdale Police Department. To report any damage please contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 630/789-7090.

The Spring/Summer/Fall Hours (March 1st-Oct 31st) Are: 5:00 am - 9:00 am and 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

Individuals who violate the rules are subject to fines issued by the Hinsdale Police Department.

Fall Programs and Registration
New this season the brochure will be included as an insert in the Hinsdalean Newspaper. Keep an eye out for the brochure to be an insert on
Thursday, August 19th.

Registration will be open Monday, August 23rd on-line, in person and via fax on . The brochure is also available for viewing and downloading on the web site. We have corrected a software issue and you will now receive receipts when registering on line or by drop off via email. Please update us with your current email address.

Community Pool Update
The published Back-to-School schedule for the Hinsdale Community Pool has been revised. Due to requests for the pool to be open until school starts the facility will be open as follows:

Revised Back-to-School Hours
          August 16 - 20 & August 23 & 24
Weekdays 2:00 – 6:00 PM ONLY

Because these are additional hours that were not budgeted, all pool patrons will need to pay $5 per person.  Pool membership passes will not be honored on the weekdays.

Regular published hours for weekends and Labor Day remain the same

Back-to-School Hours
Saturday & Sundays 12:00 pm-6:00 pm
Monday, September 6
                             12:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Closed Weekdays
August 25 – 27 &
August 30 – September 3

Patrons with memberships can use their passes during the weekend and holiday hours.

Over 600 programs are offered by the Hinsdale Park and Recreation Department annually. The year round activities are designed to meet the leisure interests of Hinsdale residents.

Community Special Events organized by the Department include the 4th of July Parade and Festival, Fall Family Festival, and one outdoor concert each year. Many other special events are also held throughout the year.
