The Skate Park is open for the season. Participants are encouraged to wear safety gear. Skate at your own risk. Bicycles are not permitted in the skate park.

The dog area permitted at KLM Park 5:00am to 9:00 am and 7:00 pm to 10 pm from March 1st through October 31st in permitted areas.
Individuals who violate the rules are subject to fines
issued by the Hinsdale Police Department.

Notice of Pesticide Application
On September 8, 2014 the following parks located in Hinsdale were treated for chemical pesticides; Stough, Dietz, Robbins and Brook Park. Signs are posted at each location indicating the time and date of the application. The recommendation is that individuals stay off the area for 24 hours from the time application.
TriPower Selective Herbicide (EPA Reg 228-262) was used, which was applied as a liquid spray or from a truck mounted boom. Please do not enter this until after 3pm on Tuesday, September 9th.
The following parks will be treated on Tuesday, September 9th; Katherine Legge Memorial Park and Burlington Park. Activity in these parks can resume on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 3:00 pm.

Park & Recreation Fall/Winter Brochure
The Village of Hinsdale Parks and Recreation Fall/Winter Program Brochure will be delivered to
residents on Monday, August 4th. Resident registration begins August 11 and is available on-line, in-person or by mail. New programs for the fall include CPR classes, dance and preschool enrichment programs.
Included in the brochure is the information regarding the Holiday Express, formerly the Polar Express, train ride event. This annual event continues to be popular therefore a lottery is held for the event. The lottery deadline for the Holiday Express is November 7th, this is not available on-line it can be done via mail, in-person or fax.

ATTENTION ALL KLM PICNIC PERMIT
2015 picnic reservations begin Dec. 1st for Hinsdale
residents and Jan. 2nd for non-residents.
A permit is required for any picnic at Katherine
Legge Memorial Park. Call the Park and Recreation
Dept. to make your reservation.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in any Village
park at any time.
