Safety Village 2011
Safety Village is registering for its 29th year of providing an exciting program teaching good safety practices to children. All children living in Hinsdale/Clarendon Hills and/or in School Dist 181 and entering kindergarten or 1st grade in the fall are eligible. Texting and Cell Phone Use in School Zones
Effective January 1, 2010, new laws have taken effect which affect the use of cell phones in school zones. The Hinsdale Police Department supports the new laws and will be conducting enforcement of these violations.

Persons with Special Needs Identification Program
The Hinsdale Police Department has developed this program to provide necessary information to police officers that will allow them to make faster identifications, reunite family members quicker, and provide help to persons with special needs without delay.
