The Graue Mill Flood Protection Improvements Project won the American Public Works Association’s (APWA) local Suburban Branch Project of the Year award in the category of Environmental Projects less than $5M. Projects that win at the local level are then forwarded to the APWA Chapter level for consideration. Projects that win at the Chapter level are then forwarded to the national APWA for consideration at the national awards. There are 60-plus APWA chapters throughout the USA.
