On Friday, October 14, the Hinsdale Fire Department participated in the 22nd Annual Silent Parade, a tribute to fallen firefighters and fire victims. Fire agencies and organizations from across the western suburbs participated.

The parade began at the Hinsdale Fire Department and proceeded west along Chicago Avenue through Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Westmont, Downers Grove and Lisle. The parade concluded with a brief blessing at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lisle.
