Can we have a tent on the property?
Yes, however, there are certain restrictions and guidelines. Please contact the KLM Reservationist at (630) 789-7095 for details or send e-mail.

Are inflatables (i.e. Moonwalk, Jumping Gym, etc.) allowed?
No, these are not allowed at Lodge functions or picnics.

We are planning a wedding reception at KLM, would we be considered "not-for-profit?"
No, not-for-profit is a designation given to most charitable organizations. Special rates are in effect for not-for-profit organizations. If you need further explanation, please contact the KLM Reservationist.

How far in advance can the lodge be booked?
There are no restrictions on how long in advance an event can be booked. See rental rates and fees for last minute deals too!

When can I reserve a picnic pavilion?
Hinsdale Residents can make picnic reservations on the first business day of December for the following Summer. Non-Residents may make picnic reservations on the first business day in January for the following Summer.

We are having a picnic and want to serve alcohol, is this allowed?
No. Alcohol is not allowed on park property.

Can we host a party at KLM Lodge and have alcohol served?
Yes. There are some restrictions. Please contact the KLM Reservationist for further details.

When is my security deposit returned?
Your security deposit is usually refunded 4-6 weeks after your event. Please note, your security deposit is not applied toward your rental payment.
