DOG
RESTRICTIONS AT
KATHERINE LEGGE MEMORIAL PARK |

The
Village of Hinsdale has restrictions on dogs in Katherine
Legge Memorial (KLM) Park. Dogs are allowed in the permitted
area of KLM Park during the following hours:
| March
1 through October 31 |
5
am to 9 am &
7 pm to 10 pm |
| November
1 through February 28 |
5 am to 10 am &
5 pm to 10 pm |

The
permitted area of KLM Park is that portion located north
of the creek; however, dogs may gain access from the
parking lot located at the south end of the Park, as
long as dogs are leashed and use only the area located
to the west of the paved roadway or the roadway located
immediately east of the adjacent area.

All
dogs in the area north of the creek must be on a leash
or be within physical proximity to and within sight
of its owner at all times and come to its owner and
heel immediately upon voice command of its owner.

All
dogs must wear a collar, be appropriately licensed and
wear a tag as proof of licensing or if not required
in the dog's domicile, wear a tag with the owners name,
address and phone number. Proof of current rabies inoculation
must be worn.

No
more than two dogs per owner.
-
Dogs
are not permitted in KLM Park during a Village sponsored
or authorized event when a sign is posted.

Dog
owners are required to clean up after their dogs.
