Completed
in 2002, the Architectural Guide Map is a 12 panel, two-sided
map that contains photographs of 92 structures that represent
architectural styles that can be found in Hinsdale. Each
photograph lists the address, name of structure (if known),
date of construction (if known), architectural style and
architect (if known). The architectural styles are described
in a separate section.
Each
structure has a number that corresponds to a number on
the map of Hinsdale, showing its location. The structures
are grouped by areas, such as Downtown, Robbins Park,
and the Woodlands, east of County Line Road.
Copies
of the map are available at the Village Office's during
normal business hours or by contacting the Public Services
Department at (630) 789-7030.
