The Park and Recreation Commission meets on the third Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Hall of the Memorial Building, 19 East Chicago Avenue, Hinsdale, Illinois. Special meetings are held when necessary.

The Park and Recreation Commission is an advisory board consisting of nine members appointed by the Village President to serve three-year terms. The Commission advises the Board of Trustees on matters relating to plans and programs for Village parks. In addition, the Commission reviews the acquisition, maintenance, and development of parks and reviews the budget for all Park activities.
