The Economic Development Commission meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Hall of the Memorial Building located at 19 East Chicago Avenue in Hinsdale, Illinois. Special Meetings are scheduled as needed.

The Economic Development Commission consists of nine members who are appointed by the Village President to serve three-year terms. The Economic Development Commission recommends plans and actions to expand the Village's tax base and increase the Village's sales tax revenues, and encourages the establishment and maintenance of a wide variety of businesses within the Village. The Economic Development Commission recommends plans and actions to promote and maintain the charm and uniqueness of the Village and enhance the quality of life within the Village. The Economic Development Commssion recommends long-term strategic plans to maximize and maintain the Village's economic development within the Village's business community.
