The
Design Review Commission meets the second Thursday of each
month at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall of the Memorial Building
located at 19 East Chicago Avenue in Hinsdale, Illinois.
Special Meetings are scheduled as needed.
The Design Review Commission was established by the Village
Board in January of 2007 as a direct result of feedback
received from the Hinsdale 2025 Survey. The Commission is
made up of four at-large residents, two architects, a landscape
architect, an engineer, and a historic preservationist.
The purpose of the Commission is to establish a set of design
review guidelines to be adopted by the Village Board for
single family and multifamily development and to review
new construction and major renovation project applications
for compliance with those guidelines.
