The Beautification Task Force was formed in September 2007, as a result of a direct recommendation from the Hinsdale 2025 Survey and subsequent SEG Beautify Hinsdale. (Solutions Exploration Group #1). The Task Force is comprised of five residents with backgrounds in design, and the Village Forester and Village Horticulturist representing Village staff. The Task Force meets monthly to review all new and major beautification projects in the village. Emphasis is put on Trees and Tree Programs, Beautification Programs, Gateway improvements and Downtown Improvements. Recommendations are given to the appropriate Committee for review and approval.
